Ghana’s U20 Side, the Black Satellites departed Accra on Wednesday to Niger ahead of the 2022 WAFU AFCON.
The Black Satellites on Tuesday defeated Division One side Tema Youth 2-1 in a friendly encounter as they gear up to defend the 2022 WAFU AFCON title they won last year against Burkina Faso in Benin.
Ghana have been pitted in Group B and will open their campaign with a game against archrivals, the Flying Eagles of Nigeria on Sunday, May 8 before taking on the Young Stallions of Burkina Faso on May 14, 2022.
