CAF has named Togolese referee Aklesso Gnama as the Center referee in charge of Ghana’s WAFU –B U17 semi-finals match against Burkina Faso at the Cape Coast today, Tuesday.
The Black Starlets will have to go through the Burkinabe for a spot in the 2022 WAFU B U17 Championship finals on Tuesday.
Burkina Faso sealed a semis finals slot following a remarkable fightback from two goals down to defeat Cote d’Ivoire 4-2 last Saturday.
They finished top of Group B with the Ivorians sealing the second spot.
The Starlets sealed a spot in the semis thanks to a thumping 3-0 win over Togo to reach the last four of the WAFU B U17 Championship.
Burkina Faso will come into the game as favourites after their impressive action so far.
The winners of Tuesday’s game will advance to the final and also clinch their places at the TotalEnergies 2023 U17 Africa Cup of Nations to be played in Algeria next year.
Kick off is at 6:30pm at the Cape Coast Stadium.
