Ghana’s Black Starlets thumped their Togolese counterparts 3-0 in Cape Coast on Friday to reach the last four of the WAFU B U17 Championship.
Goals from Pius Adua, Abdul Razak Salim and Collins Agyapong in the second half of the game secured a semi-final place for Coach Paa Kwesi Fabin’s lads from the tricky group that includes youth football giants Nigeria.
The win means Ghana finish second in Group A in the three-team despite losing 4-2 to Nigeria in the opening game.
Ghana will know their semi finals opponent after Saturday’s matches between Benin and Niger as well as the clash Burkina Faso versus Cote d’Ivoire are settled.
