Ghana’s Women’s champions, Ampem Darkoa Ladies have been handed a tough group in the WAFU-B Zonal qualifiers of the CAF Women’s Champions League.

The ‘Nanamia’ Ladies team have been paired in Group B alongside Union Sportive des forces Armees (Burkina Faso), Athleta FC of Togo and Bayelsa Queens of Nigeria in the WAFU-B Zonal qualifiers of the CAF Women’s Champions League.

The draw ceremony supervised by officials of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) took place in Rabat, Morocco on Wednesday,

The Techiman based outfit are the second Ghanaian side to complete the domestic double after breaking Hasaacas domestic jinx in Ghana.

Ahead of the WAFU B qualifying tournament in Cote d’Ivoire, Ampem Darkoa will aim to equal the feat of their archrivals Hasaaacas Ladies.

The Winner and Runner up in the WAFU-B qualifiers will represent the Zone in the main competition scheduled for Morocco later in the year.
