Ghana have been handed a tough passage to the U23 Africa Cup of Nations Morocco 2023 after being drawn in Group A with hosts Morocco, Guinea and Congo.
The draw, attended by African legends Patrick Mboma and Aziz Bouderbala, was conducted in Rabat, Morocco on Friday
The Black Meteors will thus face Morocco in the tournament’s opener on Saturday 24 June 2023 at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Sports Complex in Rabat.
Group B features holders Egypt, Mali, Gabon and Niger.
The U23 AFCON will be staged in Morocco from June 24- July 8, 2023 in Morocco.
The first three nations will get their ticket for the Summer Olympics in 2024.
This is a chance for Ghana to play at the 2024 Summer Olympics which will staged in Paris after missing out since 2004 in Athens, Greece.
