Two Police Officers figured in major Bullion van robberies in Greater Accra

The Ghana Police Service  on Monday, has disclosed that following several months of painstaking intelligence-led operations at the highest level, it has made a major breakthrough in the investigations into multiple Bullion van robberies recorded in the Greater Accra Region.

According to a press statement from the Service on social media, two of its men were involved in the four attacks. However, the Police did not mention names of the alleged culprits involved as the investigation is still ongoing.

The Police gave assurances to the public that all the suspects will be made to face justice soon.

These areas are as follows:

  • Kingsway, in February 2021.
  • Baatsona (Spintex) in March 2021
  • Jamestown ( Adedemkpo ) in June 2021
  • Attempted robbery at North Kaneshie ( Industrial area ) in February 2022

They assured the general public that the Ghana Police Service will continue to work hard to rid our country of criminal activities that disrupt the peace and stability of the nation.
