In relation to the assassination of the chief executive officer of the Cossy Hill Hotel (Jirapa Dubai) in Jirapa, Upper West Region, the Ghana Police Service has detained two more suspects.
On Sunday, February 11, the late Eric Johnson, the CEO of the Cossy Hill Hotel, was brutally killed and discovered in a pool of blood in one of his hotel rooms.
The number of individuals detained in relation to the murder now stands at seven.
Sunday, February 11 saw the arrests of Dookuuri Fausta, Braimah Kasim, Beyuo Felix, Michael Klugey, and Kumbata Kwaku.
Following the murder, George Akuffo Dampare, the Inspector General of Police, sent a team of investigators to work with the Upper West Regional Crime Scene Management Team. This team is taking the required steps and conducting investigations to make sure that the perpetrators are found and brought to justice.
Two more suspects, Charles Tuoze and Favour Nuobe, who were both employed by the Cossy Hill Hotel, have been apprehended and are being held by the Police Service while they cooperate with the investigations, according to a recent statement from the agency.
