The Black Stars earned a scrappy win over Angola in the 1st leg of the 2023 AFCON Qualifiers played at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
The uninspiring game was heading to a stalemate. However second half substitute Semenyo profited from poor defending in the final minute and smashed home the winner to earn Ghana three maximum points in-front of the home fans.
The Black Stars now sit top of Group E with 7 points with Angola occupying second spot with 4 points.
Central African Republic jump to the third position with four points in Group E while Madagascar are at the bottom with just one point.
The Black Antelopes will welcome Ghana in Luanda four days later ( Monday ) in a do-or-die affair.
