Mohammed Kudus, a star player for the Black Stars, has stated that the team is excited to play in the next World Cup, no matter how that objective is accomplished.

Throughout the team’s recent competitive games, which included the World Cup qualifiers, the 23-year-old has been a vital member of the Black Stars.

The midfielder for West Ham United is optimistic about the Black Stars’ World Cup prospects ahead of their upcoming match against the Central African Republic.

In Ghana’s previous match against Mali, he played 88 minutes and contributed to a vital 2-1 victory that improved their chances.

“The belief has always been there, we all want to go the World Cup. That is our ultimate goal, it doesn’t matter how we get it, our coach has his tactics but sometimes the game gets tougher but we just have to do our best and get the results,” he said.

“Personally, in every game whether in Ghana or Europe my motive is the same to win.
We are all a team whether I score or anyone scores, it’s a team play. We started playing from Ghana before leaving so there is no excuse. I just do my best to get the team winning” Kudus revealed.

Ghana is now level on points with Madagascar and Comoros, who are ranked first and second in Group I, respectively.

With a victory on Monday night, the Black Stars would top the group as we wait to find out the outcomes of the next round’s matches.
