The Ghana Football Association has handed a two-match ban in accordance with Article 12(b) of the GFA Disciplinary Code to Bechem Utd defender Samuel Osei Kuffour for misconduct.
The hunters defender was charged for a breach of Article 34(6)(d) of the GFA Premier League Regulations, 2019.
This comes after Samuel Osei Kuffour intentionally kicked the Porcupine Warriors star man, Frank Thierry Etouga Mbella in an off-the-ball situation, an action which in the opinion of the association is an improper behavior and likely to bring the game into disrepute.
The incident happened Ghana Premier League Matchday 19 game between Bechem Utd and Asante Kotoko at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park.
A fine of GHc1,000 has also been imposed on Samuel Osei Kuffour.
The GFA Disciplinary Committee issued a strong warning to the defender for any future misconduct.
