Accra Hearts of Oak head coach Samuel Boadu has cooled down talks about his side clinching the Ghana Premier League title despite a resurgence from the lads.
The Phobia boys have been inconsistent in the first round of the Ghana Premier League owing to changes in the technical direction as two Coaches Nii Odoum and Kosta Papic were sacked.
Boadu who replaced Serbian, Kosta Papic says he is more focused on getting the team to familiarize themselves with his style of play.
The former Medeama gaffer highlighted that his team’s focus is always their next opponents and not the title.
“Tactically we have a lot of work to do. The players are now coping with my system and philosophy. “When they are used to it things will change.
“Winning one game after the other is our main goal. “We are not thinking about winning the league but winning the next game’ he stated.
Hearts of Oak moved up to third place on the league table with 30 points after the win.
Hearts next opponent is away to AshGold at the Len Clay Sports Stadium on matchday 19 and a win for the side could see them on top of the league table should Olympics and Karela United drop points.
