Accra Hearts of Oak have officially appointed Samuel Boadu as their new head coach on a three-year deal.
The former Medeama coach has been a long-term target for Hearts of Oak after an earlier approach for his acquisition prior to the commencement of the 2020/21 season.
Samuel Boadu’s surprise resignation from Medeama SC after their Ghana Premier League home win against Eleven Wonders last Wednesday fueled more speculations about his future.
The Ghana U-15 boys trainer came close to winning the league tittle with Medeama Sporting Club on two occasions but all was truncated due to the outbreak of Covid-19 and the Number 12 expose.
A visit to WAFA in the coming weekend will be Boadu’s first game as Hearts of Oak head coach.
Meanwhile, the new-look Hearts of Oak technical team is expected to include returnees W.O 1 Paul Tandoh and Ben Adjei as Physical Trainer and Welfare Officer/Team Manager respectively.
