A Circuit Court in Accra has denied bail to founder and Leader of the Glorious Word Power Ministries International, Reverend Isaac Owusu Bempah and four others.

This comes after Owusu Bempah and his church members allegedly assaulted policemen who visited the church premises in the course of investigating an alleged threat to kill Nana Agradaa, the fetish priestess who recently converted to Christianity.

Hence, Rev. Bempah has been charged with threat of life for threatening to kill Nana Agraada as well as offensive conduct to the breach of peace, made his first appearance before the Accra Circuit Court on Monday, along with four other members of the church.

They were remanded to police custody to reappear on Monday, September 20, 2021.

The Judge, Afia Owusuaa Appiah, explained that this will allow the police more time to carry out further investigation.
