The Black Stars returned to winning ways following a thrilling 3-2 victory over South Korea in Group H Match-Day two fixture.

Ghana survived a late scare as the Asian side piled pressure on the Senior National team in the last 20 minutes of the game.

The Senior National team led 2-0 at half-time after a double brilliant assist from Jordan Ayew who justified his inclusion into the lineup. Cho Guesung of Korea scored a brace to put them levelled. Just when it looked like the game was ending in a draw, Kudus stepped up again to seal Ghana’s lead.

Ati Zigi demonstrated good goalkeeping as Ghana clung on during 10 minutes of time added time to climb above their Asian rivals ahead of Friday’s closing fixtures.

Ghana will face Uruguay next in their bid to make a knockout round in their final Group H game.
