The Ghana Police Service have confirmed the killing of five suspected robbers in a gun battle on Thursday.

Six other suspects have also been arrested.

According to the Police, series of special Anti-Robbery intelligence-led operations were carried out throughout the country in the past 48 hours.

The Service added that similar operations is currently carrying out in the Northern and Western Regions.
