The Ghana Police Service on Tuesday, thwarted an attempted robbery attack on a bullion van at the Industrial Area in Accra.
According to a post from the Service on their Social media platforms, the alleged suspects are being pursued by anti-robbery teams.
The Police has urged the general public to support them by providing relevant information to help arrest the suspects.
They added that “Any relevant information relating to the incident should be channelled through our Police Emergency numbers 18555 or 191,”
In 2021 four bullion van attacks were recorded across the country in the first half of the year 2021.
A police officer was shot and killed by armed robbers at James Town in Accra in a robbery attack on a bullion van.
