A man named Ibrahim Iddrissu Shummah, who was seen in a viral video threatening to attack and prevent people from voting in the upcoming Flag bearer Elections of the New Patriotic Party in the Assin Central Constituency, has been apprehended by the Police on Thursday.

According to the Police, the suspect is in custody assisting investigation.

The Npp presidential race is slated for November 4.

Four Presidential candidates which includes, Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, Assin Central MP, Kennedy Agyapong, former Agric Minister Dr Owusu Afriyie Akoto and former MP for Mampong, Francis Addai-Nimoh are in the race.
