Chris Hughton, head coach of the Black Stars, has chosen 27 players to represent Ghana in the 2023 TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations in Côte d’Ivoire.
As they prepared for a fifth AFCON title in neighboring Côte d’Ivoire, Ghana was placed in Group B with Cape Verde, Egypt, and Mozambique.
On the list are three homegrown players: Jonathan Sowah, Richmond Lamptey, and Abdul Fatawu Hamid.
Due to a prolonged injury layoff, Thomas Partey, an Arsenal star, was unable to make the squad.
