Black stars Head Coach, Otto Addo has named a 27-man squad for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 play offs against Nigeria.

The Back Stars will take on the Super Eagles in two matches scheduled for Kumasi and Abuja respectively for a spot in the Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup.

The Senior National team would be aiming to appease their fans by earning a fourth World Cup appearance after a disappointing elimination from the 2021 AFCON in Cameroon.

Ghana have qualified for three FIFA World Cup tournaments; 2006, 2010, and 2014.

Whereas, the Super Eagles of Nigeria will be hoping to qualify for the global football showpiece for the seventh time and, since 1994, have missed only one of seven editions.

The Black Stars will take on the Super Eagles of Nigeria in the 1st leg of the play off at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi on Friday, while the 2nd leg is scheduled for the Moshood Abiola stadium in Abuja on Tuesday, March 29, 2022.

The Winner of the two legs will progress to the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 tournament.
