Two people have been taken into custody by the Ghana Police Service in relation to the death of an American citizen in Nyinasen, close to Cape Coast in the Central Region.

The two suspects, Yussif Afrim and Togolese Wisdom Sete, were taken into custody on Friday, April 19, 2024 in Assin Prasso on suspicion of being involved in Naomi Jehubiyah’s purported murder.

A preliminary Police investigation claims that Yussif Afrim and Wisdom Sete, who is thought to be the deceased’s fiancée, plotted to kill Naomi Jehubiyah.

Since then, the body has been placed at the Cape Coast Teaching Hospital in preparation for an autopsy and preservation.

Two of the deceased’s cars have been recovered from the suspects who are being held to aid in police investigations.
