St. Augustine’s College have emerged the winners of the 2019 National Science and Maths Quiz after upstaging five-time record champions Presbyterian Boys’ Secondary School, Legon and three-time winners St. Peter’s Secondary School, Nkwatia in the final.
Augusco’s victory in Thursday’s final ended a 12-year trophy drought at the NSMQ and saw them add another title to their only win back in 2007.
At the end of the contest, the lads from Cape Coast recorded 39 points – five more than their much-fancied challengers PRESEC who had 34 points and St Peter’s who recorded 25 points.
