The National Identification Authority (NIA) has rescheduled the issuance of more than 3.87 million Ghana Cards from today [Monday, June 8, 2020] to Wednesday, June 10, 2020.
A statement from the Authority said the rescheduling is to enable the body to complete the distribution of Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) to registration centres.
“The National Identification Authority (NIA) announces for the information of the general public that its Ghana Card Issuance Exercise scheduled to begin today, Monday 8th June 2020 in all 16 regions concurrently has been rescheduled to Wednesday 10th June 2020 to enable the NIA complete the distribution of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to Registration Centres,” the statement said.
