Defending Ghana Premier League Champions, Accra Hearts of Oak have announced that Sulley Ali Muntari will miss their clash with Aduana Stars in the weekend top-liner at the Nana Agyeman Badu I Park.
Speculations were rife in the media claiming the veteran midfielder had made a decision not to play in Dormaa. However, the Rainbow club clarified that report via a post on their social media page that his omission is based on medical advice after picking up a knock in Hearts previous game against WAFA.
The 37-year-old, who scored his first goal for Hearts of Oak, has been impressive since making a return to the Ghana Premier League, scoring one and providing an assist in six games.
The ex-Portsmouth player won his first title with the club, when he starred in the victory over Asante Kotoko in the President Cup.
