Division One side Nania FC stunned Hearts of Oak in the round of 64 of the MTN FA Cup.
Hearts was matched to a scoreless draw in regulation time by Nania before inflicting a 4-3 penalty defeat on the Phobians.
The fact that the victory was achieved away from home, leaving the Hearts supporters at the Pobiman Complex dissatisfied and angry, added to the accomplishment.
Following the dismissal of Dutch manager Martin Koopman, Hearts are currently without a permanent head coach. Abdul Rahim Bashiru is acting in that capacity.
It seems that the team’s inability to maintain stability on and off the field is having a negative effect, as they are still having trouble performing consistently.
