The Government of Ghana has declared Monday, January 3, 2022, a public holiday to celebrate New Year.
This is by an Executive Instrument (E.I) and in accord with Commemorative Days Act, (Act 601).
A statement signed by the Interior Minister Ambrose Dery said the holiday which originally fell on Saturday, January 1, 2022 had to be shifted to Monday January 3, 2022.
The statement further asked all employers and Ghanaians to observe same.
