Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has encouraged students who wrote the just-ended 2023 WASSCE to take pride in their accomplishments and not allow anyone to minimize them.
This was a reaction to former President John Mahama, who claimed that teachers connived with students and allowed exam malpractice just to post a positive results for the candidates.
But the Vice President noted in his Facebook video response to the NDC Flagbearer that not everyone understands the difficulties smart students face and commended their efforts for producing impressive results.
Dr. Bawumia praised the achievements of bright students on the basis of their hard work, emphasizing that not everyone understands the difficulties they face.
Dr. Bawumia congratulated all WASSCE students, teachers, and parents on their exceptional performance in the 2023 WASSCE. He also recognized the teamwork and commitment that made this accomplishment possible.
“You have earned the excellent performances by dint of hard work. God bless you,” Dr Bawumia posted.
“Congratulations to all WASSCE students, their teachers as well as their parents for the excellent performance attained by the students in this year’s [2023] WASSCE.”
“This is no doubt the result of hard work and dedication by all of you. You have made Ghana proud and I wish you the very best as you move on to greater challenges,” Dr Bawumia wrote.
