Laryea Kingston, the coach of the Black Starlets, has announced his team for the WAFU Zone B U-17 Cup of Nations to be hosted in Accra.
After missing out on the competition since 2017, Ghana will enter the competition, hoping to make it to her first U-17 Africa Cup of Nations in seven years.
In preparation for the competition, which begins today, Wednesday, May 15, 2024, the Black Starlets have set up camp at the Ghanaman Centre of Excellence at Prampram.
In the first Group A match on Wednesday, May 15, Ghana will play Cote D’Ivoire. Then, on Tuesday, May 21, 2024, Ghana will play Benin.
The University of Ghana stadium will host the WAFU Zone B U-17 Cup of Nations from May 15–28, 2024.
