Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa

The North Tongu Member of Parliament (MP), Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, has stated that he is willing to take the Blay family to court.

The Blay family has vowed to sue Mr. Ablakwa due to claims that they are trying illegally to take over the Labadi Beach Hotel, a state-owned property.

Mr. Ablakwa stated to Umaru Sanda Amadu on Wednesday during an interview on Point Blank on Eyewitness News on Citi FM that he was not scared of the possibility of going to court.

He emphasized that although he was ready to take the Blay family to court, he was aware of the difficulties in his cause and that attempts would be made to quiet him.

Furthermore, the North Tongu MP observed that he had not yet received a writ from the Blay family.

“The Blay family keep issuing threats upon threats I have said look what are they waiting for? I am ready. I am not one who shies away from the court…So, I know that it is a tough job. People will threaten you with legal suits, will try to silence you.”

“So, I am not one who fears the court. I am ready for the writ anytime they issue it. But for now, I can confirm to you that they have not reached me yet,” he stated.
