Asante Kotoko have defeated Liberty Professionals 2-0 at the Accra Accra Sports Stadium on matchday 8 of the Ghana Premier League on Monday 11th January, 2021.

Brazilian midfielder Fabio Gama, in his first start for the Porcupine Warriors, assisted both goals.

The two goals came before the 25th-minute mark to settle the contest in favour of Kotoko.

Liberty had a couple of decent opportunities but Kotoko defended well to claim a clean sheet.

Asante Kotoko now sit in 6th position on the league table with a game in hand.
