Ajax midfielder Mohammed Kudus has been named Talent of the Month of May in the Dutch Eredivisie after string of fine performances.

The 20-year-old seals his return-from-injury with some stupendous performances to end the 2020-21 campaign.

Kudus has featured four times this month, contributed two assists, and scored 2 goals in the process in the month of May.

After a strong start to the season, Kudus suffered a big setback in October when he picked up a meniscus injury on his Champions League debut against Liverpool, a situation which kept him on the sidelines until January.

The Right to Dream Academy graduate joined the Dutch giants in the summer from FC Nordsjaelland and claimed his first double, winning the Eredivisie and the KNVB Beker.

Kudus made Coach CK Akonnor’s squad for Ghana’s international friendlies against the Ivory Coast and Morocco.
