When news emerged that veteran actor, Kofi Adjorlolo and much younger actress, Victoria Lebene were in a relationship it took many by surprise.

While some people saw it as normal and part of showbiz, there were a few people who were cynical about the whole affair.

Now their cynicism has been rewarded as ace broadcaster, Abeiku Santana, has revealed that the relationship between the two was all a publicity stunt.

Speaking to Multimedia’s MzGee at the wedding of Victoria Lebene and Peace FM’s Eugene Osafo Nkansah, Abeiku said it was all part of a plan to give the actress exposure in the industry.

“I met Victoria Lebene in 2016 when she expressed her interest to come into the mainstream media so we had to plan everything.

“She was a model and as a photo model the society would not accept her immediately so it was strategy.

“The penetration strategy; how to get her name out there, the Kofi Adjorlolo stuff, the publication, the Counsellor Lutterodt stuff all these were part of a PR strategy,” he said.

Abeiku added that, “So the Adjorlolo story was a cooked story, it was all acting and they never dated. Counsellor Lutterodt fighting Lebene was all PR, My wife knows it because Vic stayed in my house like one week.

“She drives my car, I brought her into radio. Even before we encouraged her to go and study journalism she was a model.”

That strategy clearly worked because Victoria gained popularity when the ‘relationship’ became public.

Abeiku also expressed happiness that Victoria and Eugene were married because he introduced them.

“I am excited to see the two of them because I brought Victoria Lebene to Eugene. They met through me. This was a plan from 2016 and we are in 2019 and she has married and I am so happy,” he said.

Victoria and Eugene tied the knot on Tuesday, June 11 at the Rehab Beach, Labadi, Accra in a beautiful ceremony.

A host of celebrities including Yvonne Nelson, Jackie Appiah, Martha Ankomah, Zynell Zuh, Afia Schwarzenegger, Beverly Afaglo, Praye Tiatia, Okyeame Kwame, Wendy Shay, Abeiku Santana and bloggers like Yemmey Baba, GHKwaku and Zionfelix attended the ceremony.
