Joe Mettle, the award-winning Ghanaian Gospel Music Minister, has released his first single for 2019, titled: “Mehia Wo Yesu.”
The prayerful song, which comes off his upcoming album “Wind of Revival”, hinges on man’s yearning for more of God and the need to depend on him in all situations.
“Mehia Wo Yesu” is sung in the popular Ghanaian dialect, Twi, and literally translates as “I need you Jesus,” in English.
The song, which was produced by Koda, for Koded Studios, comes with a powerful video that re-echoes the theme of the song.
According to the singer, on his Instagram page, writing and recording the song was a great blessing to him; “A personal reminder that Jesus covers our past and secures our future”.
He, therefore, urged people not to try to live by their own strength but to rely on God.
“You were never meant to carry the load and burdens that you face daily by yourself; you will always fall short. You can live in and through every situation with God’s power. It’s a daily choice; yearn for a closer walk with Jesus,” he posted.
‘Mehia Wo Yesu’ is now available on all online music platforms.
