CAF has appointed Mauritanian Aissata Amadou as the center referee for the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup final round 2 leg qualifier between Morocco and Ghana.
The Black Maidens head to Rabat with a 2-0 advantage against Morocco from the first leg in Accra thanks to Strikes from Stella Nyamekye and Nancy Amoh which condemned the baby Atlas Lionesses to a first defeat of the series.
The Moroccans will be anxious to leverage on their home ground advantage and bounce back from a disappointing first leg result to earn a historic qualification as they prepare for the return tie at their Moulay Hassan Stadium in Rabat on Saturday evening.
A draw for Ghana will be enough to seal a spot in this year’s global youth showpiece to be hosted in India.
Referee Aissata Amadou will be assisted by compatriots Mariem Chedad (Assistant Referee I) and Houleye Hamedine Diba (Assistant Referee II). Zomadre Sonia Kore from Cote D’Ivoire will sderve as the Fourth Official while Marie Isabelle Tall Zoungrana works as the Match Commissioner.
Others officials for the match include Oulera Daloba – Referee Assessor – Guinea. Hanane Tahiri Jouti – Morocco – COVID-19 Officer.
The match will take place at the Complexe Sportif Prince Moulay al in Rabat on Saturday, June 4,
