Black stars head coach, Milovan Rajevac has vowed to stay at post despite the embarrassing performance of the Black Stars in the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations.
Ghana crashed out of the competition with just a point in three games.
The Comoros beat the Black Stars 3-2 at the Roumdé Adjia Stadium on Tuesday in the final Group C game.
The Comoros now have three points, moving from fourth position to third, just behind Gabon, who are second with five points and will have to wait for the results of the other groups to know if they can advance as one of the best third countries.
In a post match interview, Rajevac said his mandate is to lead the Blacks stars in the World cup play offs qualifying round.
“I came to Ghana to qualify the team for the World Cup. That is my primary target. I will stay and lead the team in the March play-offs’‘ the 68-years-old said after Ghana’s loss to Comoros.
Ghana’s first round exit without a win in three matches is the worst ever AFCON performance by the Black Stars.
