Black stars interim Coach Otto Addo has expressed confidence in his technical team following the extension of their tenure.
The Senior National team received a major boost after the GFA re-appointed the quartet of Coach Otto Addo, Chris Hughton, George Boateng and Mas-Ud Didi Dramani until the end of December 2022.
The quartet at the helms of affairs for the Black Stars secured a place at the Qatar 2022 World Cup, after beating West African rivals, Nigeria on away goals in March.
Coach Otto Addo and his charges are mandated to serve as Technical handlers of the Senior National Team for the upcoming AFCON 23 Qualifiers and the FIFA World Cup 2022.
The Borussia Dortmund trainer expressed his believe and undying trust in his technical team.
“I have a contract for six months until after the World Cup. We have international matches in June, a 10-day trip in September and then the preparation for the World Cup are on the agenda,” He disclosed.
“From scouts to analysts to trainers, I have a very good team around me that I trust and that supports me very well. That’s most important. My assistant coach, Didi Dramani takes care of many things on-site. Our Technical Advisor Chris Hughton also does a lot of the work for me.”
Coach Otto Addo and his charges will soon begin preparations towards Matchday 1 and 2 of the TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nation Cote D’Ivoire 2023 qualifiers and the four-nation tournament in Japan.
Addo, on Thursday named a 33 man Squad for ahead of their upcoming Cote D’Ivoire AFCON 2023 qualifiers against Madagascar and Central African Republic.
