Ghana’s Black Maidens Head Coach Baba Nuhu has retaliated his sides eagerness to claim a slot at the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup India 2022.
The FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup India 2022 Qualifiers enters its final phase this weekend with the fourth round first leg games.
Ghana must go through Morocco to take one of the three tickets at stake for the final tournament to be held from October 11 to 30, 2022 in India.
The Black Maidens will host their Moroccans counterparts at the Accra Sports Stadium in a final round 1st leg clash FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup Qualifiers.
Speaking in a pre-match presser the Gaffer believes even though Moroccans are not mere pushovers, his charges are determined to oust them for a slot at the Mundial.
”Every team at this stage is a threat and a potential World Cup candidate because we have all gone through series of matches to get here. We even played a friendly match with them (Morocco) before starting the qualifiers and they were not bad even though we won that game. This is a different game, a World Cup qualifier. I know it will not be easy but I believe my players will win” Nuhu said.
The Black Maidens will slug it out with Morocco for a ticket in India at 3pm on Friday.
