Accra Hearts of Oak have announced the suspension of bulky striker Kofi Kordzi for two weeks for violating his contract.

The 27-year-old featured in the just ended Ramadan Cup on the same day the Phobians were locking horns with Dreams FC in an MTN FA Cup semi final game at the Accra Sports Stadium.

The Rainbow Club revealed that Kordzi did not ask for permission before taking part in the competition.

Kordzi is the second top-scorer of the defending champions this season with nine goals in all competitions.
