Accra Hearts of Oak are back to winning ways as they edged out Berekum Chelsea 2-0 in their outstanding Ghana Premier League Match Day 5 encounter at the Cape Coast stadium on Wednesday.
The game against Chelsea is one of the three matches which were rescheduled because of their engagement in the CAF Confederation Cup competition.
A brace from bulky striker Kofi Kordzi in either half settled a win for the defending Ghana Premier League champions.
Kordzi connected from close range after getting on the end of William Dankyi’s cross in the 19th minute – finishing off an impressive team move.
He netted his second eight minutes into the second half with a header from close range – with Dankyi being the provider in the 53rd minute.
The Phobian by virtue of the win climbed from 13th position on the league log to 9th with 13 points, with two outstanding games to clear.
The Rainbow club will play Medeama SC and Asante Kotoko in their next two outstanding games.
