Hearts of Oak duo Coach Samuel Boadu and midfielder Ibrahim Salifu receive 2020/21 GPL NASCO honors

Ghana Premier League champions, Accra Hearts of Oak playmaker Ibrahim Salifu has been voted the 2020/21 GPL NASCO Player of the Season.

The Former Eleven Wonders star, beat off stiff competition from top-scorer Diawisie Taylor, Gladson Awako, Benjamin Afutu and Augustine Boakye.

Ibrahim Salifu who played in 33 league games, won 8 NASCO MVPs, scored 3 goals and assisted in 8 league goals.

The Best player of the season received a NASCO shopping voucher worth GHc5000, personalized trophy and a weekend stay for two at a plush hotel.

Meanwhile the Phobians Head coach, Samuel Boadu beat off competition from Great Olympics’ Annor Walker, Mariano Baretto, Vladislav Viric and Prosper Narteh Ogum to win the coveted award for the just ended Ghana Premier league season.

Boadu received a NASCO shopping voucher worth GHc8000 and a trophy.

Managing and Sales manager of NASCO Electronics Mrs Adiza Kubrah Ibrahim Abu who presented the awards stresses that the company rewards excellence hence the decision to honor the player and coach of the season.

“We congratulate the coach and player for their splendid performance in the season and we urge them to aspire to win more in the coming years”, Mrs Ibrahim Abu stated.

Though not part of their initial package, NASCO also announced an award package for the league’s goal king Diawisie Taylor.

Taylor received a NASCO shopping voucher worth GHc3000 and a trophy for his heroics in the just ended season.
