Accra Hearts of Oak defeated title rivals Aduana Stars in their match day 18 fixture to move into third position on the GPL Standings.

Two goals from Victor Aidoo and Patrick Razak ensured Samuel Boadu makes it two wins out of two games in charge as head coach.

Hearts broke the deadlock on the half hour mark as Aidoo scored his 7th goal of the campaign from the spot.

Winger Razak was fouled in the box by defender Abdulai which resulted in the penalty.

The Phobians who dominated the game a lot in the second period added a second goal deep into stoppage time as some good work from Patrick Razak resulted in an own goal by Hafiz Adams to double the lead for Hearts of Oak.

The win puts Hearts on 30 points, three behind league leaders Great Olympics.
