Accra Hearts of Oak are champions of the Ghana Premier League after claiming a point in their encounter with Liberty Professionals on Sunday at the Accra Sports Stadium.

For the Phobians it was their first title since 2009 and puts their trophy tally at 20, three behind their bitter rivals Kotoko.

By virtue of Sunday’s results Champions Hearts are on 61 points ahead of the final round of matches, while the Porcupine Warriors are second on 57 points.
