The Greater Accra Region was struck by a strong downpour on Tuesday, April 23, which resulted in multiple power outages within the distribution network, as reported by the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) to its customers in the region.

The ECG reassured its customers in a statement that they are making every effort to restore power as soon as possible.

“Customers should please note that our engineers are working assiduously to restore power supply to affected customers.”

Customers who were impacted by outages were asked to report them to the ECG by phone at 0302611611, in person at the closest ECG office, or by contacting the company through its official social media accounts, @ECGghOfficial.

The ECG expressed regret for the situation and acknowledged the inconvenience caused by the outages.
