Legon Cities produced a spectacular performance on Sunday as they shocked leaders Asante Kotoko at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Matchweek 26 of the Ghana Premier League.

The Royals defeated the Porcupine Warriors 3-1 to condemn Kotoko to a second consecutive defeat courtesy a brace from veteran Hans Kwofie and a goal from Michael Otuo.

Kotoko’s Mudasiru Salifu scored a consolation to reduce the deficit for the host.

Despite the loss at home, Kotoko still remains on top of the Ghana Premier League standings with eight points as second place Bechem Utd play, Today with the aim to reduce the gap.

Legon Cities, meanwhile, occupy the eighth position.
