FC Samartex 1996 left it late to defeat former champions Accra Hearts of Oak in the betpawa premier league matchday 30 at the Nsenkyire Sports Complex.

The loss thus extends Hearts winless run on the road under David Ocloo to four games.

Kwasi Fosu opened the scoring for FC Samartex in the 4th minute as he capitalized on a sloppy defense to slot home. The Phobians leveled matters for Accra Hearts of Oak in the 42nd minute as the first half ended 1-1.

Back from recess, Linda Mtange got on target inside 63 minutes to give Hearts of Oak a 2-1 advantage but FC Samartex equalized in the 80th minute.

Seidu Dauda Yussif broke the hearts of the Phobians as he scored in the 95th minute to give the hosts all the points.

The Phobians currently drop out of the top four – as they lie in 5th place with 5th place while FC Samartex occupy the 8th spot with 42 points.
