Asante Kotoko lost to Nsoatreman on Thursday night, extending their winless streak in the Ghana Premier League.
The game ended with a 2-1 loss for the Porcupine Warriors at Baba Yara Stadium as Maxwell Kondau’s team scored a late winner.
After 23 minutes, Nsoatreman scored in Kumasi to give his team the lead, followed by Abdul Manaf Umar, a former midfielder for Hearts of Oak.
Shadrack Addo helped Kotoko draw even, despite Konadu’s team continuing to have good opportunities that they couldn’t convert.
Three minutes remained before the halftime siren when the young player scored.
In the second half, Prosper Narteh Ogum made some substitutions, but they had very little effect on the score.
Nsoatreman grabbed a late winner in extra time, just as it appeared that the match would end in a draw.
The away team’s Mohammed Abdul Rahman goal secured all three points.
With this loss, Kotoko has now dropped five of their previous six league games, with the other one ending in a draw.
