In the Ghana Premier League on Sunday, Asante Kotoko defeated Legon Cities 2–0 to continue their resurgence.

The Porcupine Warriors won their second straight game at Baba Yara Stadium thanks to goals from Yussif Nurudeen and Steven Mukwala in each half.

Ugandan international Mukwala scored the first goal from the penalty spot in the 33rd minute, and Yussif Nurudeen added the second goal in the 49th.

The Reds will travel to Berekum Chelsea next on Friday, May 17 at the Berekum Golden City Park.
