On matchday-32 on Sunday, Accra Great Olympics defeated Asante Kotoko 1-0 to improve their chances of surviving the Ghana Premier League.

The Dr. Kwame Kyei Sports Complex saw an important victory for the visitors in the 44th minute thanks to a goal from Raymond Oko Grippman.

Olympics, who currently sit 16th in the league standings with 39 points, will pass Hearts of Oak, their city rivals, if they defeat Dreams FC in a thrilling game on Wednesday, June 5, 2024.

The Premier League is headed for a photo finish, with up to six teams deeply engaged in the battle for relegation.

With 43 points, Kotoko is now in 10th and needs to win both of their remaining games to guarantee their spot in the Ghanaian premier league.
