The 10-man Bibiani Gold Stars won 1-0 at Hearts of Oak thanks to a goalkeeping gaffe from Sharif Shuaib. It was the team’s first-ever victory over the Accra giants.

The young player, who made an impression in goal for the Phobians, will be devastated that his harmless shot deflected off Amankwah Frank and found Mawuli Wayo, who scored the game’s lone goal with ease.

In the final seconds, Gold Stars goalkeeper Ernest Kusi produced a textbook save to deny the Phobians a point or more and put further pressure on coach Abubakar Ouattara.

Hearts currently sit 10th in the standings with 32 points after losing twice, drawing twice, and winning once in their last five games.
