Aduana FC have jumped to the top the Ghana Premier League after a 3-0 thumping of Bibiani Gold Stars.
Goals from Emmanuel Gyamfi and Isaac Mintah at the Nana Agyemang Badu I Park on Monday, proved decisive for Aduana.
The two-time past winners were momentarily knocked to second place on Sunday following Nsoatreman FC’s 2-0 victory over Real Tamale United. However, two goals from Emmanuel Gyamfi in the first half and an icing on the cake by l Isaac Mintah were gave Aduana FC a convincing victory at home.
Gyamfi rounded the goalkeeper for the opening goal in the 18th minute before his delicious chip seven minutes later for his brace.
Aduana FC’s top scorer, Isaac Mintah, completed the scoring in the 31st minute to give them their fifth straight victory since they were defeated by Asante Kotoko in Kumasi on Friday, October 13.
Currently leading the League table with 21 points, Aduana FC is 2 points ahead of Nsoatreman FC in second place and 5 points ahead of FC Samartex, who are in third place with 16 points.
