Black Galaxies Head Coach Annor Walker has named Gladson Awako as skipper of his side ahead of the upcoming CHAN tournament in Algeria.

The Accra Hearts of Oak playmaker will be assisted by club mate Daniel Afriyie Barnieh as 1st vice-captain and RTU midfielder David Sandan Abagna as 2nd vice-captain.

Coach Annor Walker and his lads are currently in Egypt to step up preparations for the CHAN tournament which will be staged from January 13- February 4, 2023 in Algeria.

Ghana are housed in Group C alongside Madagascar, Sudan and Morocco.
